Children's Ministry Coordinator and Teacher

I have been serving in this position for several years. This dual role provides me with ample opportunities to serve the many needs of 3RG's Children's ministry.  I researched, reviewed, and presented our currently used curriculum to the board of elders. Currently, I schedule teachers and helpers, upload curriculum into the Google drive, train teachers, and teach the children on an ongoing basis.

This opportunity allowed me to research an artist and plan an interactive presentation that I presented to three third-grade classes.

Pittsburgh Project

I was blessed to serve a wonderful woman in Pittsburgh who needed a lot of work done on her house.  I painted, organized, and patched her walls.  Getting to know her was the best part of that day.

Fall 2011- Fall 2013

At Risk Youth Tutor

This was a once-a-month opportunity to serve the at-risk youth in the projects of the Troy Hill area of Pittsburgh.  I tutored them in reading and math.

Homeless Ministry Volunteer
North Hills Christian Church

During my monthly visits to homeless men in the park on the Northside, I prayed with them, built relationships with them, shared desserts and drinks with them, and provided them with clothing.

While serving in this role, I reviewed the curriculum, planned and taught weekly lessons, and collaborated with the children's ministry director on service projects.
